Friends of Emmet (F.O.E.) are a band from Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 2009 they are now based in Los Angeles, California.
F.O.E. have just released their debut album Coming Apart on April 23, 2010. The album was produced by Rick Boston and engineered by Robin Holden. It consists of ten tracks including a remake of the David Bowie’s Young Americans.
The title track Coming Apart was written about Kevin Hines, who miraculously survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. The song conveys a young man’s story of survival and hope, one that greatly inspired the band.
